Chuan Dong Shipyard, which is subordinated to the China shipbuilding industry corporation ,located in Fuling district of Chongqing city .Leaning against Chongqing Fuling express highway ,facing the gold water course of Yangtze River, with Yuhuai Railway in the south .It covers an area of 1.86 million square meters. The shipyard is the largest ship building, repairing and steel structure manufacturing enterprise in the southwest of China which can independently design an manufacture all kinds of river and seagoing ships with capacities of under 8000 tons. Annual production capacity of steel structures reaches up to 30000 tons.
The shipyard has successively got the welding certificates U.S.A ABS Bureau of Shipping. German Lloyd’s bureau of Shipping and British Lloyd’s bureau of shipping .The shipyard has passed ISO9002 quality system certification in 1998 and ISO 9000:2000 system plus News Era Quality certification of 2001 National military standard in December of 2002.
In recent years, the shipyard has built the large-scale bridge steel structure of No.1 and No.2 Yangtze River Bridges in Wan Zhou, E Gongyan Yangtze River Bridge in Chongqing, Yangtze River Bridge in Zhong Country, and Yangtze River Bridge in Wushan ,etc. We also build steel structures of building, air pre-heaters for hydropower stations，desulphrization devices for power plants, and turnout devices for Chongqing urban railway construction project ,equipment for metallurgy and building material production. Exported marine hatch covers, stainless steel vessels with capacity of over 3000 tons for chemicals and all kinds of military and civil ships. The products find a good sale in the countries all over the world.
