川东造船厂职工教育培训中心暨重庆船舶技术学校是西南地区唯一培养造、修船专业技能人才的学校，同时承担着工厂职工教育培训职能，学校开设有船舶焊装、船舶钳工、船舶管铜工、船舶电工、机械加工等专业。自建校以来，为工厂和社会培养了2000余名“重基础、厚实践”的优秀技能人才。学校被认定为国家职业技能鉴定所、船舶行业特有工种国家职业技能鉴定站、首批重庆市青工振兴计划培训基地、重庆市涪陵区劳动力转移定点培训机构。

Established speeialties of the school include: Ship welding, Locksmith technology, Coppersmith technology, Ship electrotechnics, and Machining technology .Since foundation of the school, more than 2000 of highly skilled graduates,who are of “ Solid theoretical basic knowledge and experience focus”, have been supplied to the society. The school has been certified as the National Occupational Skill Test Authority, Shipping Industry Skill Test Authority, TrainingCenter for the Revival Plan of the First Batch of Young Skilled Personnel in Chongqing , and the Specified Training Organization for rural labor force displacement in Fuling district of Chongqng.
